How We Work
Camaraderie from near and far. AIM is a 100% remote team but this doesn’t hold us back from building bonds! Daily conversations in chat include non-work topics like #cooking, #fitness, and believe it or not…#ghosts! We celebrate personal milestones, and work-related wins, and provide a platform for everyone to share their appreciation for each other through a “Kudos” slack channel. Office Looks Like
One of the rarely talked about benefits of working in a remote team is that you have complete control over your workspace! In a traditional office space, you’re forced to work in a one-size-fits-all environment. When you work on a remote team, your workspace is completely up to you. This allows you to flow in your ideas, have the space to think in your best environment, and be surrounded by the things that inspire you most.
We thought it would be fun to share what we’ve done with our workspaces, so here’s a peek at the remote workspaces of some of our AIM team members.
Culture
Freedom and flexibility. Spread across multiple time zones in Canada, the U.S., and Europe, we sign into Slack and open up our workspace on the schedule that fits our lives best. We communicate asynchronously, work autonomously, and take ownership of our work. We believe in empowering our people to embrace innovation and a growth mindset. We believe in questioning the status quo, prototyping new methods, refining existing processes, and inspiring entirely new experiences.
