With 5+ years of experience in copywriting and developing strategic marketing plans to grow her clients’ online presence, Holly joined AIM earlier this year after freelancing in content creation. Please join me in getting to know a little bit more about Holly and her journey into affiliate marketing!

With experience in event and community management, teaching English in Europe, and years of bartending and hospitality experience, Holly loves bringing creative ideas to life and seeing the impact that campaigns make. As a people person, she has been using her skills to cultivate partner relationships and support clients every day.

Let’s check in with Holly and see how she’s doing in her new role at AIM.

Question: What inspired you to join AIM?

Answer: One of my friends was working for AIM and always expressed how amazing the culture was and how satisfying it was to work there. I was searching for a remote position that would allow me the freedom to travel and work from anywhere and wanted to expand my career in marketing so she encouraged me to apply. I was completely new to account management and wanted to dive into something that would push me to the next level.

Question: Which of AIM’s Core Values (Delight, Innovate, Grow, and Giveback) aligns most with your own?

Answer: They definitely all resonate—which is why I knew that AIM would be a good fit for me—but if I had to choose one it would be Grow. I am always looking for new ways to grow both personally and professionally. I think it’s an integral part of life to push ourselves past our defined limits and discover what we’re capable of when we get out of those comfort zones. We often surprise ourselves with the results!

Question: In the beginning, what was your first impression of AIM?

Answer: It seemed like such an open and caring environment to work in. Many companies boast incredible culture, but AIM really lives it and manages to do so with an entirely remote team. I feel supported by my colleagues and managers and genuinely feel like they care about my well-being, which is a rare gem to find in a workplace.

Question: What aspect of your job excites you most? Why?

Answer: Though change can be scary, I’ve found in my short time here that things are changing almost constantly and it’s helped me more quickly adapt. I like knowing that no two days are going to be the same when I log on and that I am continuously learning and growing in this role (and that I will be acknowledged for that growth by my teammates!).

Question: Now that you’ve been with AIM for a while and have settled into your role, what are some goals you have for the next 30 days for yourself?

Answer: Now that I’m feeling more confident in publisher and client meetings, I really need to get stuck in with some data and truly understand the analytics and what goes on behind the scenes in program management. I know it’s an important part of my role and will help me grow even more, so I can offer valuable insight into trends both for my team and our clients.
